In 2011 we moved from the USA to Australia to oversee care for my elderly mother. I am embracing every moment of life with my mother and also with my wonderful husband Jeremy and our 2 beautiful children Micah and Luciana. It is a treasure to be back in my homeland again, yet I will always miss the USA. Plus our family and friends. Weather my heart is aching or filled with joy, throughout the seasons the Lord upholds my heart.

A letter to friends to uncommit
Hi Jade, I'm going to try take the term off. I'll try get a YWAM babysitter the remaining weeks of choir. It's very hectic and emotionally wearing selling Mum's house.. Going through and organising her stuff. It's so precious going up the Mt every weekend. But in Brisbane I feel tired. I've also got $4,000 worth of dental work including two root canals and crowns. This will take many many appointments. So I want to make sure I take care of me and don't pile my plate up too high. I also want to grieve well, as I did not with my Dad's death. I stuffed it and forced myself past it too soon. I'm just determined not to do that again. I got some grief counseling and I was encouraged not to force myself into things too soon! I've really got to focus on one big task at a time so I don't fall apart. I've chatted to another lady who lost her Mum and she ended up with heart pulpitations and ended up in hospital. I've felt anxiety coming on so this is my best attempt to combat that. I'll miss you. The kid's will still be coming. Hopefully by term two I will be coming often again. Xoxo
