YWAM sports in the park. Sweet answers to BIG questions

On a Wednesday my dear Brittish friend Becki, from YWAM (Youth With A Mission) watches our children at a community event YWAM runs of sports in the park followed by a free BBQ dinner.

This gives me time to start my online ministry for those who were bullied like me. It gives me precious time to write alone, to think alone, to hear form God and listen to all the words in the worship songs I play really loudly. Yes my mu homeschooling Mothering self this time in purely priceless.

My kids love it too. Every Wednesday Lucy counts down the hours til 4pm. She draws I love you pics for Miss Becki and takes her little gifts. Micah looks forward to the sports BBQ dinner. Thanks to many young YWAM adults cheering him on, his confidence has grown so much. He really enjoys playing volleyball and just like his Dad he picks up sports skills very quickly. Lucy, on the other hand has enjoyed playing on the playground equipment. Especially the swings and see-saw. She enjoys playing 44 Home and Hide and Go Seek with other kids and other YWAM young adults. Who just love being with kids and have bundles of energy.

Another bonus with it being a YWAM campus, is there are plenty of folks from all around the world. My kids are not the only ones with non- Australian accents. In fact there are many other American's there. It is really precious.

But the most precious thing of all about this time for the kids is they get to build beautiful relationships.

Yesterday Becki asked Lucy some really special questions.

It went like this. (She recorded it)

Becki: Lucy what's your favourite thing in the whole world?

Lucy: God and Baby Ana

Becki: That's a great answer. Why God?

Lucy: Because He made me and if He didn't make meme I wouldn't be alive and wouldn't have met all my friend's liek you and Savanna and Mummy and Daddy and Micah.

Becki: Lucy you are so cute

Lucy: No I'm not not, I'm 6 now and I was only cute in the womb.

SO incredibly sweet! Thanks Becki! We love you. I am so thankful for you and the time you are investing in our kids!
