So I was nominated to do the 7 day #LoveYourSpouse marriage challenge ." Due to being short on time this week I've decided to condense it all into one post. So here's our story. I believe I was destined to marry Jeremy Soehnlin. The night my Mum went into labour with me she was watching the 'Wizard of Oz' which of course begins in Kansas. Fast Forward many years into my teens God spoke a beautiful word into my heart that he would give me joy and boldness like a sunflower. This was after many year's of my extreme shyness, depression and low self worth as a kid and teen. So of course my favourite flower became a sunflower. Fast Forward into my 23rd year of life and my once was shy self, flew in a plane to the USA knowing nobody, to go and work as an Au Pair for people I had never actually met. This was before Skype. Well God answered my prayers with many special American friend's. But I was blessed even more than I'd ever imagined. It was in VA, USA where I met the man of my dreams. A man born in Kansas, the sunflower state. On 28th of January, 2006, I married my Kansas man in my hometown of Tamborine Mt, Qld Australia, proudly holding a bouchet of sunflowers. It was on our wedding day that we shared our very first kiss. We had a second wedding ceremony in VA, USA, April 1st that same year. To this day I thank the Lord for my Kansas man. I love him more than any words could describe. We are the proud parents to 2 beautiful children on Earth. As well as 3 precious children in heaven whom we look forward to meeting one day.
