My beautiful little girl

This post is to celebrate my little girl Luciana Phoebe Soehnlin, whom we affectionately call Lucy.

I also want to dedicate this post to my dear old friend Amber.  We've been friends since we were teenagers together in youth group. Amber is a girly girl herself and is pregnant with her 1st child, a precious little girl!  I am so VERY excited for you Amber!!  You have a lot to look forward to.  You will be in girly heaven!  I think you will be an amazing Mother.

My Aunty Aileen is to the left.  Amber is laughing as usual.  She has an amazing laugh and she is incredibly joyful.  Her husband Jared is right behind her.

Lucy just turned two (her birthday post is coming up next).  She is incredibly girly even though she has a brother.  She is a mini mother.  She loves baby dolls.  She has 3 best friends, her beloved Ducky who has been her faithful attachment item since she was close to10 months old. Her Iggle piggle which came from my Mum's house, is from the show the Night Garden.  Then her doll who she calls Baby.  Baby is her favourite doll whom she got for a present for her 1st birthday.  She sleeps with Iggle Piggle and Ducky.  One in each arm.  She has asked to sleep with Baby too but I put a limit on 2 friends.  Baby has a hard face and a rattle inside, not as plush as her other 2 friends.

Cooking her friends a meal in her new kitchen.  I was spying on her as I got this pic.  She put the 3 of them in this basket and kept chatting away to them as she cooked for them.  I used to do the same thing when I was little for my toy friends.

Lucy loves jewelry, tea parties, hand bags - she likes to have two or more on the stroller at once, she adores putting pretty head bands in her hair and wearing clothes.  If she sees me picking out her clothes she often has a say.  When I dress her in something new or different she dances around and says pretty.  She can mostly dress herself really well.  Shirts are a little hard.   Pants and skirts are easy for her put on and even Micah's underwear, up to 4 pairs at a time. She can reach his drawers easier than her own.  Since they are big she fits both legs in one leg hole.  Kind of strange, yet cute.  She is wearing 2 pairs right now, I told her no more than 2 as she has a skirt on already.

Mummy added some ribbons for wrist bands.  The logo for Jeremy's football team the Kansas City Chief's, is on her red and white bow.

She got Micah's blue Mickey bag to add to her hand bag collection.  This is her cheeeese face.

I LOVE having a girl!  She brings so much joy to our family.  We all dote on her girly ways and call her pretty and beautiful which she loves.  You are so loved Lucy, my little girl.
