In 2011 we moved from the USA to Australia to oversee care for my elderly mother. I am embracing every moment of life with my mother and also with my wonderful husband Jeremy and our 2 beautiful children Micah and Luciana. It is a treasure to be back in my homeland again, yet I will always miss the USA. Plus our family and friends. Weather my heart is aching or filled with joy, throughout the seasons the Lord upholds my heart.

Bullying. No Way! 2016 Community Service Announcement
Woohoo. Anti-Bully day in Australia this Friday! Wish this was around in my schooling days. Never the less it is fantastic a day such as this exists today. So I have encouraged all I know on social media to get involved and make a stand. Even if they are no longer in school. Maybe their kids are. I know from personal experience what it feels like to be bullied. Yep as I have said in previous posts, I was known as the geek, dork, miss fit, throughout all my schooling days. Even to the point of wanting to end my life. I am so thankful God answered my prayers that night when I cried out to him. He met me in my pain. But it's been a long painful road of recovery. I'd never wish that sort of pain an anyone. I tell you what, the social anxieties that I have had to overcome from the harmful effects of bullying as an adult have been enormous! I still struggle with them at times. Bullying does not build resilience or make you stronger. It only makes your self worth lower and your negative self talk louder!
For many years to come. So I've practically begged without holding back for people to join me. To talk to their kids about it. To not normalise it or turn a blind eye. To make a stand against it! By doing this it is possible to save a life or at least restore some dignity and self-worth!! Somebody did that for me and I am so thankful that somebody did!
