Guess how much I love you?

A few days ago Lucy woke up earlier than Micah. Sigh.

Her awakening occurred right in the middle of my writing. My precious time of solitude which I can carefully carved out to spend time in prayer, in God's word, and to write in my journal.

Since my kids share a room and Micah seemed to take forever to go to sleep the night before, I decided to let her stay up and break the rules of no kids out till 6:30.

She was so sweet but still constantly interrupted. I became frustrated and apologized.

As usual, she was quick to forgive me. I love that about her!

I thanked her for her forgiveness and she replied
"guess how much I love you?" I replied  "how much?"
She responded "more than the stars in the whole universe!"

She melts my heart.

She reminded me of God's unconditional, continual love for me that is far deeper than I can ever imagine.

Jeremiah 31:3 "I have loved you with an ever lasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.
